Company Culture is so important to the success of a business. As a business owner, Rosalynn Robb talked us through this important concept on the podcast.

It’s so important to let your employees feel valued and trust them to do their job. Rosalynn has created this culture by hiring the right people. Employees can make or break your company and so when employees are the face of the company and they bring the face and the mission to the client it is important to get the right people.

The main points Rosalynn raises are are events and investing time and money :

On Fridays Rosalynn paid for lunch for employees to come together and bond as a team.

At Christmas, due to a lot of employees being college students, Rosalynn took the team out for a nice dinner to show gratitude and appreciation for her employees.

Quarterly events such as  ice cream socials where everyone brings topping, an escape room day

Axe Throwing. Taking the team out of the work environment where they can socialise and be together helps the team work well as well as show appreciation for their hard work.

Holiday Baskets for holidays such as valentines and christmas.

Gift Cards for events such as new homes, new babies.

It’s the little things that matter. As an owner you need to be in tune to what is going on and show them that you are listening and care about what is going on in their personal life.  It’s about making employees feel valued, happy and part of a team.
